Early Voting
Most states allow voters to cast ballots in person before Election Day at centralized locations.In most places this means going to City Hall or a local board of elections, though some larger jurisdictions will arrange for regional early voting centers. Once you’re at an early voting site, there won’t be much difference between voting early and voting on Election Day.
Voting by Mail
Voting by mail is like voting from home, and it may be the easiest option. In most states, the first thing to do is to request a ballot that will be mailed to you. Many states allow you to track the status of your ballot request online. You can find out when your reqeuest was recieved, approved and processed. After marking the ballot to you liking, you deliver it by returning it to an authorized drop box which is maintained by your local election administrator.
